Would you like to do something on this holiday that is totally different to anything else! Something you can only do in about 15 holiday resorts around the world. Then you have come to the right destination. Experience a real dive in our purpose built tourist submarine, which will take you down 30m (100ft) to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, without even getting your hair wet.
SUBMARINE TOUR
As we start our dive, the on board guide will give you all the information you will need to enjoy and understand the underwater world outside of your large 80cm (3ft) viewing window. Get your cameras and camcorders ready as you come face to face with this magical underwater world. You may have the opportunity to come across our 8ft sting ray, large barracudas, angel sharks, parrot fish and hopefully many more. The submarine will glide by 3 shipwrecks lying silently on the seabed, acting as habitats for the local marine inhabitants.
Part way into the dive the pilot will sit the submarine down onto the seabed. This will give you the opportunity to move around the spacious cabin and take photos both inside and out. Our scuba dive will join us at this point, performing his underwater ballet and feeding the amazing marina life around the submarine. He will visit you at your own view port; bringing the marina life directly to you, so close you feel like reaching out and touching them.
On our way back to the surface we will encourage everyone to join in the chorus of, yes you have guessed it “We all live in a Yellow Submarine”. As we leave this amazing world, you will be able to collect your own personalized “Dive Certificate”, proving to others you have been one of the few people to experience the underwater world around Lanzarote. Our reception center also contains a large gift shop area, so you will be able to grab a genuine Submarine Safaris souvenir.
